All volunteers at Dublin Lesbian Line are lesbian and bisexual women who will listen without judgement and without opinion. We have a strict policy of confidentiality and anonyminity which means that your call will always be treated with the utmost respect and will always remain completely private.
The volunteers on Dublin Lesbian Line are not qualified counsellors (although we do have a list of gay/friendly counsellors) but we can listen and we can give you the information you might need on the many support services available.
Dublin Lesbian Line started in 1979 after a year of operating in conjunction with Tel A Friend (TAF). Dublin Lesbian Line receives no government funding and relies heavily on donations and fund raising events.
Dublin Lesbian Line would like to thank Kiss and Side by Side for their support and genoristy towards the line.
