Good Mood Festival brought to you by Dublin Lesbian Line and Outhouse as part of Dublin Pride. Saturday June 17th, 12-6pm, Outhouse. Concise timetable to be added shortly.
Outhouse: Doors open 12pm
Wellness and Self Care, Red Room. 12.15pm
Karina Murray - Karina will be talking to us about self care: "I've had a passion for health and fitness for the last 5 years after realising the positive impact exercise and self care has on my mental health. I was a weightlifter in the early days before taking up triathlon in January 2016. I'm currently training for the Dublin Ironman 70.3 and will be going to University to obtain a master's in Health Promotion later this year. I set up a health and fitness focused meetup group for LGBT women late last year. The purpose of this was to enable members to develop their self care skills and help them to meet others on a similar journey."
Find Karina's group here on Meetup and on Facebook.

Nerilee Ceartha - LGBT wellbeing through interest sharing. Nerilee encourages us to be very proud of our communities, who are at the forefront of positive mental health promotion. This presentation looks at how LGBT people understand their wellbeing and what they do to ‘mind’ their mental health. Having conducted research on this topic, Nerilee says there is a lot to learn from LGBT communities and shares this with us on Saturday.
"Take a Walk on the Wild Side" - a guided comedy meditation through Licky Rake's mind. After the success of last years 'Workout with Licky' the mischievous, swimsuited one returns to take us on a guided meditation of the inner workings of her mind.

HIV and Empowerment. Library 1.30pm
Robbie Lawlor, HIV activist, returns with a talk and discussion on HIV and Empowerment.
Robbie Lawlor is an activist and spokesman for various charities related to reducing stigma around HIV diagnosis. He has a sizeable social media presence and has been interviewed by multiple media outlets and is increasingly expanding his activist role to speak about mental health issues surrounding HIV. Robbie’s activism was a response to his personal adjustment to his experience of being diagnosed with HIV and the difficulties he encountered due to the side effects of medication, living in a deafening silence, and the incessant fear of being 'outed' related to stigma. Robbie subsequently turned his HIV story around and determined to make a better life for himself and others living with the condition. To that end he set up Ireland's first one-on-one peer support network with the social work department in St. James Hospital. He became an event organizer in the social group organization, “MeetUp Plus Friends.” He also became involved in various projects creating visibility around HIV, the issues surrounding HIV and informing the public about their important role in overcoming these issues. To create a platform in which to discuss these issues Robbie became Mr. Gay Ireland in 2014 . Outside of Ireland, Robbie has worked with various UK NGO's including Stop AIDS, Youth Stop AIDS, and Restless Development in order to further implement effective strategies to break the stigma surrounding HIV in Ireland.
Last year Robbie facilitated our Sex and Mental health workshop to great success. Through sharing his personal experience of being diagnosed with HIV at a young age, the whole room, irrespective of gender, sexuality or age, related to some aspect of Robbie's story. This year he is back with what will no doubt be an inspiring talk with space for a discussion afterwards. Not to be missed!
Joining Robbie will be Jon Weir of Gay Switchboard Ireland to discuss the services and supports they offer and the work they do on sexual health.
